I am a PhD candidate in Political Science at the University of Rochester. I go by Mei.

I study international relations and formal political theory, with a focus on third-party intervention in interstate and intrastate conflicts. My dissertation examines how foreign actors' interests in a conflict affect (1) their diplomatic signals, (2) their intervention strategies, and (3) the prospects for a negotiated settlement.

Before Rochester, I received a B.A. in International Politics from Renmin University of China.
